Description

This is a great example of a traditional single story cortijo which has a private position not far from Castaras in the Alpujarras. The 87m², three bedroom cortijo is set on 36,000 m² of exceptional, relatively flat land. To one side of the property is a 55m² workshop/garage incorporating a water deposit.

 

Access is available from two directions along tracks, generally in good condition. There is ample parking for a number of vehicles directly outside the property.

 

The buildings are in sound structural condition and ready to move into, although the cortijo would benefit from some internal modernisation. The entrance to the cortijo leads into a living/dining room with an open fireplace in one corner. To the left is the functional kitchen with cooker and double stainless steel sink unit. To the right is the bathroom and another double bedroom.

The land directly around the cortijo is flat with various plants, shrubs and trees. There are open and shaded areas all with superb views of the surrounding mountains and villages.  There is an abundant fresh water supply and with a little vision, this could become a beautiful country garden.

 

The rest of the land is gently undulating, partly irrigated and has many olive and almond trees amongst others. This is a great opportunity to own a beautiful part of the Alpujarras.

 

There is a small solar system installed but a modern larger system would be beneficial.
