Description

Access to the house is via a small porch area with a gate into the hallway which has stairs to the upper floor and a corridor leading to the ground floor rooms. There is a large room, used as a bedroom and next to this a large room currently serving as a storeroom and laundry area. There is plumbing installed for a washing machine. Off of this room is a fully tiled shower room with a shower, a basin and a toilet. As these rooms are on the ground floor of the house and it is built into a steep hillside behind, they do not have any external windows.

There is plenty of natural light coming from the glazed door and the double sliding doors giving onto a small balcony. There is room for a small dining suite with glorious views over the rooftops of the lower part of town and the hillsides beyond. In the lounge space is a cast iron wood burning stove fitted into the brick built corner chimney breast and room for sofas and other lounge furniture.

 

The external door from the living space leads to a small flight of steps and up to the roof terrace. From here the views stretch from the North towards the snow-capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada to the south east and the rolling landscape of the Sierra de la Contraviesa. The terrace has a fully tiled terracotta colour floor and although currently has no railings or balustrade there are pillar bases in place that could be used to support metal railings or a more rustic brick and wooden beam style construction that is typical of the area.

 

The house has fully tiled floors throughout and a mixture of wooden doors and windows and metal framed double glazing. There is mains electricity, water and sewage and telephone and internet are available. This property is located next to property Ref 3866 and is owned by the same vendors. Purchase of both properties could give the potential to rent one out and live in the other. There is also a small plot of land behind the property that could be purchased separately.
